HWID Spoofer and Windows 11 24H2: Check Your Version First

Our Temp HWID Spoofer supports Windows 10 and Windows 11, with one exception: Windows 11 version 24H2 is not supported. Before you buy, take ten seconds to check which version you are on. If it is 24H2, talk to support in Discord first instead of buying a key you cannot use.

Why the Windows version matters for a spoofer

A spoofer works at a low level of the system, close to how Windows talks to your drives, motherboard and network adapters. That is the only way to change the identifiers an anti-cheat reads. It also means a spoofer depends on how Windows handles those parts internally.

Feature updates to Windows change more than the look of the Start menu. They can change the kernel, drivers and security features, and a tool that works on one version may not work the same way on the next. That is why compatibility is listed per version rather than as "works on Windows 11".

What Windows 11 24H2 is

Microsoft names Windows feature updates by year and half: "24H2" means the update released in the second half of 2024. It arrived for most people as a regular Windows Update, so many PCs moved to it without the owner choosing to. New PCs sold since late 2024 often ship with it.

24H2 was a larger change under the hood than a typical yearly update, which is why it is the version our spoofer does not support.

How to check your Windows version

Method 1: winver

  1. Press Windows + R.
  2. Type winver and press Enter.
  3. A small "About Windows" window opens. The second line shows something like Version 23H2 (OS Build ...) or Version 24H2 (OS Build ...).

This is the quickest way and works on both Windows 10 and 11.

Method 2: Settings

  1. Open Settings (Windows + I).
  2. Go to System, then About at the bottom.
  3. Under Windows specifications, read the Edition and Version lines.

The Edition line tells you whether you are on Windows 10 or Windows 11. The Version line tells you the feature update.

Method 3: PowerShell

If you prefer a command:

Get-ItemProperty "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" | Select-Object ProductName, DisplayVersion, CurrentBuild

DisplayVersion shows the version name, such as 23H2 or 24H2. One quirk: on Windows 11, ProductName can still say "Windows 10" for historical reasons. Trust the build number instead. Windows 11 builds start at 22000, and 24H2 uses build 26100.

What you see Supported by the Temp Spoofer?
Windows 10, any version Yes
Windows 11, version 21H2, 22H2 or 23H2 Yes
Windows 11, version 24H2 No
Windows 11, a newer version or anything you are unsure about Ask support before buying

If you are on a newer version than 24H2, or the number does not match anything in the table, do not guess. Send a screenshot of your winver window to support and get a clear answer before you pay.

What to do if you are on 24H2

Talk to support before you buy

This is the main advice. Our 24/7 Discord support can tell you the current situation for your setup. Compatibility can change, and support will know the latest status before any blog post does. Head to support and include your winver screenshot so they can answer quickly.

Don't try to force it

Running the spoofer on an unsupported version is not a workaround. At best it will not spoof properly. At worst you will think you are spoofed when you are not, then log in to a game and get the new account linked to your banned hardware. That is the exact outcome you bought a spoofer to avoid.

Always confirm a spoof worked with the built-in HWID checker. Our guide on how to check your HWID shows how to compare your IDs before and after.

Be careful with "roll back" advice

You will find guides online telling people to downgrade Windows or block updates with registry edits and third-party tools. We are not going to tell you to do that. Rolling back is only offered by Windows for a short window after an update, and anything beyond that usually means a clean reinstall and a risk of losing data. Decide that for yourself, with a full backup, and only after you have talked to support about whether it is even needed.

Hold off on other purchases

If you were planning to buy a cheat that you need a spoofer for, sort the spoofer question first. A cheat key does not help you if your hardware is banned and you cannot spoof. Read do I need a HWID spoofer to check whether your case needs one at all.

If you are on a supported version

Good. A few habits will keep things smooth:

Frequently asked questions

Does the HWID spoofer work on Windows 11?

Yes, on Windows 11 versions other than 24H2. Windows 10 is supported on all versions. Check your version with winver before you buy.

How do I know if I'm on Windows 11 24H2?

Press Windows + R, type winver and press Enter. The window shows your version. If it says Version 24H2, or your build number starts with 26100, you are on 24H2.

Can I just run it on 24H2 anyway?

We don't recommend it. It is not supported, so you cannot rely on the spoof being active. Talk to support in Discord before you buy.

Will support help me if I'm on 24H2?

Yes. Support is available 24/7 in Discord and can tell you what your options are for your setup. Ask before you pay rather than after.
