HWID (hardware ID)

Also called: Hardware ID

Identifiers read from your PC's hardware, such as disk, motherboard, BIOS and network adapter serials.

A HWID (hardware ID) is any identifier an anti-cheat reads from your PC: disk serial numbers, motherboard and BIOS IDs, network adapter MAC addresses and more. Anti-cheats record them so they can recognise your PC again, which is how an HWID ban works.
