Rainbow Six Siege HWID Ban: How to Check and Fix It in 2026

Siege uses BattlEye, and BattlEye bans more than accounts. If you have been banned before and every new Ubisoft account on your PC gets banned too, you have a hardware (HWID) ban.

How to tell

What you see Likely cause
Only your main account is banned, new ones play normally Account ban
New accounts banned within a match or two HWID ban
"BattlEye: Global ban" on new accounts HWID ban
Accounts work on a friend's PC but not yours HWID ban

Why new accounts keep getting banned

BattlEye reads identifiers from your hardware (drives, motherboard, BIOS, network adapters) and records them after a ban. Siege also leaves traces on your PC. Any new account that logs in from the same machine is matched to the old ban.

The fix

A HWID spoofer changes the IDs BattlEye reads, and a cleaner removes the traces. Our Temp HWID Spoofer:

It is temporary: run it before each session and your real IDs return after a restart. It supports Windows 10 and 11, except Windows 11 24H2.

Step by step

  1. Buy a spoofer key and unlock your setup guide.
  2. With Siege closed, run the spoofer and the Siege cleaner.
  3. Confirm the change in the HWID checker.
  4. Make a new Ubisoft account with a new email.
  5. Load your cheat after spoofing. See how to set up R6 cheats.

Frequently asked questions

Is a Siege HWID ban permanent?

Yes. Plan as if it never expires.

Will buying a new SSD fix it?

Only partly. BattlEye reads several IDs, not just your drive, so a new drive alone usually isn't enough.

Do I need the spoofer every time I play?

Yes. A temp spoofer resets when you restart your PC.
