Internal vs External vs Streamproof Cheats Explained

Cheat listings throw around words like internal, external and streamproof. They describe how the cheat works, and that affects features, performance and how you can use it. Here is what each one means.

Internal cheats

An internal cheat runs inside the game's own process. Because it has direct access to the game, it can read and draw a lot of information quickly: detailed player ESP, bots, items, chams (coloured player models) and world ESP.

External cheats

An external cheat runs as a separate program that reads the game from the outside and draws its visuals in an overlay on top. It usually has fewer deep features (no chams, for example) but keeps more distance from the game itself.

Streamproof cheats

Streamproof is about what gets recorded. A streamproof cheat draws its visuals so that capture software (OBS, Medal, GeForce Experience, Discord screen share) records the game without them. You see the ESP; your stream and clips do not.

Frequently asked questions

Is internal or external safer?

Neither is automatically safe. What matters most is whether the cheat is currently undetected (check the status page after every patch) and how you play.

What does streamproof mean?

The cheat's visuals do not show up in recordings or streams from OBS, Medal, GeForce Experience or screen share, while you still see them in-game.

Do streamproof cheats hide from anti-cheat?

No. Streamproof only affects what capture software records. Detection depends on the cheat being undetected, so always check the live status.
